more photos 		Rabbi Marc Schneier visits Ashdod
Rabbi Marc Schneier of the New York and the Hampton Synagogues and family visited the AMC site.  Mayor Zvi Zilker welcomed the Schneier's at the municipality where they received a briefing on the future plans for the city of Ashdod.  The entire staff of the Ashdod Emergency Medical Center wishes to welcome Rabbi Schneier upon his inauguration as a member of the Board of the American Friends of AMC and extends to him our profoundest gratitude.


more photos 		On Thursday, March 22, we were honored to host Mr. Arkady Gaydamek at the future site of the Ashdod Emergency Medical Center. Mr. Gaydamek, who is widely known for his philanthropy, began his visit with a tour of Ashdod accompanied by Mayor Zvi Cilker. He was then hosted at the municipality where he was officially welcomed by Mayor Cilker and greeted by MK Rabbi Yaakov Litzman. After a question and answer session with the press, Mr. Gaydamek toured the AMC site and was presented with the first limited edition gicle print of the AMC certificate of appreciation. The entire staff of AMC expresses its warm thanks to Mr. Gaydamek for his support and contribution to the establishment of the Ashdod Medical Center.


more photos 		Breakfast at the Park East Synagogue- January 11, 2007
Rabbi Arthur Schneier of Park East Synagogue hosted a breakfast commending the various humanitarian projects in Israel. The Guest of Honor, The Honorable Uri Lupolianski, Mayor of Jerusalem and founder of Yad Sarah spoke as did Mr. Henry Kissinger. Special emphasis was placed on the Ashdod Emergency Medical Center project. Co-Director of JHFI, Mr. Jeff Ballabon, was kind enough to convey to the audience the dire need for this project and the part JHFI plays in helping to build the Ashdod Emergency Medical Center



more photos 		On January 11, 2007, the New York office of the prominent Israeli firm Shibboleth inaugurated their new premises.  Present at the Mezuzah fixing was Rabbi Arthur Schneier of Park East Synagogue.  At the luncheon following the ceremony, Mr. Jeff Ballabon, co-director of JHFI, introduced the AMC project to the firm's members and clients.  Senior partner, Mr. Oren Heiman, announced his intention to assist in the establishment of the Ashdod Emergency Medical Center and to involve the firm as a whole in our crucial endeavor.
