 		Reverend Lou Sheldon supports the Ashdod Emergency Medical Center
On June 27, 2007, Reverend Lou Sheldon visited the site of the Ashdod Medical Center. Reverend Sheldon is the Chairman of the Traditional Values Coalition. His organization represents approximately 43,0000 congregations that are united in their love and admiration for Israel and its people.
In addition to the tour of the construction site, Reverend Sheldon met with top Ashdod city officials in the Municipality where they were treated to a musical performance by a choir group of Russian immigrant children.

Reverend Sheldon was amazed at the site of the Ashdod Medical Center and overwhelmed by the obvious need for the facility in the City. Reverend Sheldon has pledged to marshal the resources at his disposal in support of the project.

 Chief Rabbi Metzger visits AMC
Israel’s Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Yona Metzger visited the site of the Ashdod Medical Center on June 21, 2007.  As, “Saving a life is akin to saving the entire world (Scriptures)”, Rabbi Metzger was visibly impressed by the bold and vital initiative demonstrated by the construction of the Ashdod Medical Center and pledged his support in his capacity as the Chief Rabbi of Israel.

 Fundraising Golf Tournament planned for October
"Solicitor Stephen Black and Jo Silverman make a site visit in May 2007. As friends and supporters of the UK appeal for the Ashdod Medical Center their visit signified agreement to hold a grand fund raising golf tournament in Manchester in October, 2007. All the proceeds are to be donated to the AMC Physiotherapy Department

Avi Paz, President of the Israel Diamond Exchange, visited the site of the Ashdod Medical Center on May 2, 2007.
MK Yaakov Litzman toured the site with Mr. Paz and discussed with him the great need that the AMC will fill in less than one year's time.
