AMC was honored to host Rabbi Suchard, of Sandton Synagogue in Johannesburg, at the AMC site on January 3rd, 2010. Sandton Synagogue will be hosts to the AMC delegation attending the gala inaugural event of the South African Friends of AMC in early February.

The members of Pharmadom, an organization of French, Jewish pharmacists, were honored guests of the Ashdod Medical Center for a full day visit on November 29th. The group of 40 was invited to the Knesset by MK Eli Aflalo who personally greeted them and accompanied them on a tour of the building. They then attended a session with Deputy Health Minister Rabbi Litzman who spoke about the great value of their assistance to various medical projects in Israel, and particularly the importance of completing the Ashdod Medical Center project. After a visit to the site where they were shown around by their very own Dr. David Bouzaglo, they proceeded to the municipality where they were greeted by Ashdod city officials and treated to a performance by the Ashdod Mandolin youth ensemble and the retired person's singing duo. Accompanying the group was their President Didier Marek.

Israeli industrialist, Mr. Nochi Dankner, Chairman of the Board and CEO of the IDB Holding Corporation and Rabbi Yaakov Ifergan toured the AMC site on October 19, 2009. Mr. Dankner understood the urgency and necessity of completing the Center and opening it to the public as soon as possible.
