No medical center can be regarded as complete without its spiritual focus. As is well known and documented, prayer and meditation bestow comfort and renew strength in times of sickness and stress.

The Synagogue of the Ashdod Emergency Medical Center will offer calm retreat to assuage the anxiety and doubt of patients and their families. The Synagogue will be located on the first floor level of the Center and will occupy an area of 64 square meters (675 square feet).

The Synagogue will be constructed in modular fashion so that in addition to providing an aesthetic and comfortable spiritual setting it can easily modified to serve as a conference room or lecture hall. Electronic equipment for video conferencing will be available so that Center professional staff communicate and consult with medical experts around the world.
