More than 900 patients per month require physiotherapy treatment in Ashdod. The Physiotherapy Institute at the Ashdod Emergency Medical Center is sorely needed, especially for post-surgical patients and for victims of accidents and injuries. Treatment will be provided both for musculo-skeletal and respiratory conditions.

Patients will be treated at the Physiotherapy Institute for both acute and chronic disorders. Orthopedic patients in particular will benefit from therapies that will assist their recovery after surgery to strengthen their muscles and regain movement in their joints. Therapies will be complemented by education in self-help techniques.

Therapists will assist patients through stages of recovery to optimize their strength, mobility and independence and to ensure the success of their rehabilitation.
