The Main Lobby
Modern inspiration has guided the planning of the striking Main Lobby of the Ashdod Emergency Medical Center. Conceived as a lofty, impressive entry into the building, it will comfortably accommodate heavy pedestrian traffic.

This impressive focal point of the Medical Center will incorporate several novel architectural features. A four-story central hall is graced with balconies on each level overlooking the Lobby, and two glass curtain walls that let in natural light. A bank of round glass elevators is positioned at the center of the structure. A wave-shaped wall forms the main interior wall, rising the entire four-story height. This wall, covered with matte finished aluminum sheets, symbolizes both the technology and the humanity of the treatment provided.at the medical center. The Atrium, both functionally efficient and aesthetically pleasing, will occupy 2'650 sq ft. (250 sq meters).

Patients, families, and visitors will access elevator banks centrally located in the lobby. A caf? area for light refreshments will also serve as an informal meeting space. A founders’ wall honoring the distinguished supporting founders of the project will be on permanent display
